Clothing / Bathing Suit Policy
At Camp Beckwith, we experience a high level of activity on a daily basis. Because of this, our clothing and bathing suit policy is as follows:
For daily clothing: please pack clothing that your camper can run around in, climb in, and play in without the clothing falling off or slipping to cause inappropriate exposure.
For bathing suits: please pack athletic, functional bathing suits for campers. Acceptable bathing suits include a one piece, a tankini, or a two piece with a top that pulls over the head sports-bra-style, with no way to unhook, untie, or unzip; and with bottoms that provide full coverage, with no way to unhook, untie, or unzip. Other acceptable bathing suits include swim trunks that provide full coverage, and are fitted around the waist so that they won't accidentally slip off.
We spend a lot of time in the water swimming, jumping, getting on and off boats, and we want your camper to be able to participate fully in these activities by wearing bathing suits that will allow for full range of motion and functionality.
